In the natural order, a parent does not have to bury a child./it is the children who bury their parents/ When life takes us out of the natural order, everything is intensified. There is no greater pain in this life than than that of a parent who must bury their child and the greatest pain of all is that of a mother who must bury her child. I am so sorry for your loss and for the pain that you must endure for the rest of your life. That seems like forever while we still walk this earth, but thank God it is not forever! Adrian has made it to the Ultimate Goal of this life. He is reaping the rewards, joys, happiness and fantastic fun of being in Heaven. For him it is just the blink of an eye until he sees you. Not so for you. I will pray for you as you endure each second of this life without him physically beside you . I will also ask Mother Mary (the Blessed Virgin Mary) to walk beside you, comfort you and guide you, because she also lost her Son. She had to watch him die. I am sure that every second of Jesus passion and death was , to her, like she was having her heart ripped out over and over again. I suspect that, in her mind's eye, she saw the baby Jesus and every skinned knee or pain that he ever had growing up as she walked beside and watched the man that Jesus had become as he walked up that hill carrying the cross with all the horrific pains that he was suffering every step of the way. And she could do nothing to stop what was happening! She understands what you are going through. She has been there/ She will help you if you want her to and if you let her. And last but not least, I truly believe in redemptive suffering! I believe that when we pick up our cross and follow Jesus, if we offer our pain up in union with Jesus' sacrifice that our pain too becomes redemptive. We can offer it up for different intentions such as the salvation of your children's souls. Read Colossians 1:24

Our condolences to the Bocanegra family. May God provide you enough strength to face these difficult times, although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are in our prayers.
