I was saddened to hear of Mr. Maven's passing, but blessed to know that he has the assurance of a better home with the Lord Jesus. He was a diligent and conscientious worker and a kind, quiet man. Once I learned that sports (and snacks) got him going, we had quite a few good conversations about professional teams and favorite players. Definitely a loss for Kecoughtan and Hampton City Schools. Family, you have my sincere condolences and I pray that the peace of God would rule in your heart.

Mr. Maven was a cherished member of Kecoughtan High School's staff. I remember him fondly as he worked so hard every day to make our school clean and safe. He is sorely missed. Sincerely, Joan Ehlers
