Adrian D. Strother

Adrian was a great leader and Junior High Football Player at Chickasaw Jr High. I was his first Football Coach. He is at peace with our Lord. Peace be unto you, Family. Coach Shirley McCray. ( His picture is in the Tri- State Defender-Feb. March edition-2021) in a article about me. Love to all.

I was sitting her at my desk; I should be gone home, but a child wanted to work on an assignment and she needed a computer. I decided to stay a while for her need. It is very quiet here now that everyone else is gone. And out of nowhere a familiar voice comes to mind. It's Adrian's voice and laugh.

We miss you so much, Train! Heaven is happy and you are healed. My tears are tears of joy today, for to know you is know that God allowed us to reap a season with you that will forever be remembered.

A Letter To Our Brother. We are so proud of you brother. You really mean so much to us. We wish you could look inside our hearts and really truly see the love that lies within and all the thoughts of you that make us grin. The memories we have shared the times you've been there just to show how much you care. Those times of long ago, that only we could know. Those times of heartache and pain. Those times of triumphs and gains. We have seen your strength in tough times, we will miss your hugs and spending time together, we will miss the things we'll never get to share with each other. We'll miss talking to you on the phone. Wish we could see your big smile just one more time. Adrian not a day goes by that we don't look at your pictures and smile. I just heard about Adrian's passing this morning. You and the kids have our deepest condolences, and we will keep you all in our prayers.

We have shared so many memories together. Our kids became each other kids. We miss you so much. You were so much like my husband. Michele and I never had a chance of winning any disagreements. You were a true friend, wonderful husband, great father, best son and super brother. You were a meatloaf lover and I had to make one in your honor. You would have said, "You put some love in this." Michele miss you so much and will forever hold you in her heart. We got her back.

I was so saddened to hear of the transitioning of "A TRAIN". That was my boy. Such a gentle and respectful guy. My prayers are certainly w/Betty, Yvette, Jerome and the whole family. You all grew up w/ my boys...Rodney & Kolumn Laws.

ATrain was an Ole Miss Rebel Family member whom you could always see his bright smile around campus. A great guy! Praying for strength, understanding, and peace for his dear wife and family.

I got a chance to say goodbye but I didn't realize it would be my last. You gave me the biggest huge and I will cherish that moment FOREVER . It is an out of body experience to be writing this. To be honest I'm still hoping this is a dream, but I sadly it's not. Adrian you know how much I L O V E you! I made sure I stopped by just about everytime I came home and we would stay up all night eating, talking, and OMG THE MANY LAUGHS! I am going to miss you so much!
