Adrian Lamar Walker, 48, of Green Cove Springs, entered the sunset of life on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent's Riverside Hospital, Jacksonville. The son of Mary Ann and William "Bill" Walker, he was born on Sunday, January 6, 1974 in Green Cove Springs. He was a 1993 graduate of Clay High School where he was an outstanding Running Back on the Varsity Football Team. Adrian spent most of his life in Green Cove Springs. He later moved to Owensboro, KY where he met and married Jessica Moss.
In addition to his wife and parents, Adrian was preceded in eternal rest by his brother, Kendrick Walker; maternal grandparents, Willie and Nettie Martin; paternal grandparents, Freddie and Lunette Walker; aunts, Nettie Martin, Joan McWhite; uncles, John Martin, Clarence Walker, and Freddie Walker, II.
To cherish his memories: children, Rashaun Walker, Tianna Walker, Asia Johnson, Adrianna Walker, Travius Walker, and Gavin Walker; brothers, William (Cheryl) Walker, Anthony Butler, Freddie (Jessica) Butler, and Joseph Austin; aunts, Vestella Martin, Barbara Garner; uncles, Clarence Martin, Michael Walker; and a host of other family and close friends.
Visitation of family and friends will be held September 9, at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, 1300 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Green Cove Springs. Celebration of Life will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 10, at Russell Baptist Church, 2299 Sandridge Road, Green Cove Springs. Rev. R.L. Wright, Senior Pastor, Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, Green Cove Springs, is the eulogist. Interment: Mt. Olive Cemetery, Green Cove Springs.
