I was so sad to learn today that Bitsy had passed. We both served in the Daughters of the King years ago. She was a very dear person and friend. I am so sad I am just learning this. My prayers are with all of her family and loved ones.

I am saddened to hear of Bitsy's passing. I was a Realtor with her in Daniel Ravenel Real Estate office for many years. She was a Southern Lady that I always respected and enjoyed her company. She will be missed. I will keep all of her family in my thoughts and prayers. Amy Willis

Dear Caroline, Demal and Caroline- I was so blessed to have become reacquainted with Bitsy at BG. We shared the Eucharist and prayed to the Blessed Mother and God, Father Son and Spirit over these past few years. It was my honor to serve her and to have her as my friend. I look forward to celebrating with all of you on Wednesday. May you all be at peace. Demal it was a joy to get to know you.

Bitsy was a woman of great and unshakeable faith, which sustained her through her lifetime. She found security and friendship in living at Bishop Gadsden and in her membership at Nativity Catholic Church. I will personally miss her and all the possibilities of our interactions. My condolences to her family especially her sister who was faithfully good to her and whom she spoke of often, as well as her son and daughter.

Bitsy and I dated in High School. She is, was, and always will be, to me, a Sweet Heart. I have fond memories of our happy, carefree lifestyle back in the high school days on Tradd Street.
Please know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers- Greaton

What a lovely lady Bitsy was. My mother Eloise Taylor and I loved Thelma and I have fond memories of her (always loved running into Thelma at Harris Teeter) and very special memories of George whom I grew up with.

For those who don't know, "BItsy" was my cousin. She was a beautiful, smart and multi-talented woman who always knew what to do and when to do it. I regret that I will not be able to attend her funeral because my family will be out of town. All I can say is she made a huge contribution to her beloved city and made it a lot better off because of her. May she rest in peace.
