With deep sorrow and immense love, we announce the passing of Adrienne Kaufman Berman, 86, on March 21, 2025 at the Watermark, Bridgeport CT where she resided.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Adrienne's life was a testament to kindness, work, and unwavering generosity.
Born on June 1,1938 in Chicago, Adrienne was a woman of ambition and heart. She soon made her way to New York City where she met her husband, Bill. Adrienne built a remarkable career in retail, first as a business owner and later as the New York City Showroom manager for Brown Jordan Furniture, where her keen eye for design, leadership and dedication left a lasting impact. She took great pride in her work, forming lasting relationships with colleagues and clients who admired her expertise and business acumen.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Adrienne's greatest passion was her family.
She was the heart and brain of her home, always providing love, wisdom, and unwavering support to those she cherished most. Whether celebrating life's big milestones or offering quiet comfort, she created love that will continue with her family for generations.
Adrienne is survived by her husband, William Berman, her daughter Randy and son-in-law Scott Ellis, her son Larry Berman and daughter-in-law Betsy, predeceased by her son Jason Berman, her grandchildren; Robert Ellis, Zachary Ellis, Jacquelyn Ellis, Madalyn Culnane, Jake Berman and Josh Berman.
Her love, generosity and especially her unwavering strength will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will now lay in peace next to her adored son Jason who was taken from his family way too soon.
A private service will be held for her family.
