Adrienne Bucholz, a dedicated teacher at Aquebogue Elementary School in Riverhead, New York, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2025, in South Jamesport, New York. Born on February 18, 1951, Adrienne devoted her life to nurturing the minds of countless children, instilling in them a love of learning and a passion for discovery.
Adrienne's commitment to education extended beyond the classroom; she served as a mentor and guide for many, fostering an environment that was both supportive and challenging. Her impact on her students and the local community will be remembered fondly by those whose lives she touched.
A beloved mother and grandmother, Adrienne is survived by her son, Evan Bucholz, and his wife, Kyla, as well as her daughter, Amanda Wisniewski, and her husband, Jacob. Her legacy continues with her cherished grandchildren: Alice, Ruby, Nell, and Joni, who brought immense joy to her life. Adrienne’s loving mother, Helga Johnson, also survives her, alongside the memories of her late husband, Brice Bucholz, and her father, Charles Robert Hersey.
Adrienne will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will carry her spirit forward with love and fond remembrance.
