Adrienne Carol Chell

Adrienne Carol Chell, 60, of Hamilton, NJ passed peacefully into clear light on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ, Adrienne resided in Hamilton Township since 1989.
Adrienne graduated from Chatham High School, Class of 1983. She received her Associate Degree from the School of Visual Arts in New York City and was also a proud licensed cosmetologist. Her passion for music found expression through her work as an administrator at the School of Rock, where she helped organize concerts and support young musicians. The final ten years of her professional career were spent as an educational assistant with the Hamilton Board of Education.
Adrienne met her husband and love of her life, Russell, in 1988, and they were united in marriage on May 12, 1990, in Chatham, NJ.
An artist at heart, Adrienne expressed herself through painting portraits of people and pets, as well as creating murals. Her deep love for her children led to her active involvement in the PTA, where she worked tirelessly to fundraise and support their schools.
For the past 25 years, Adrienne was a devoted practitioner of Kadampa Buddhism. She was a longtime Sangha member and teacher at Menlha Kadampa Meditation Center in Lambertville, NJ.
Adrienne had a heart of gold and will be remembered as a wonderful daughter; a devoted and loving wife; a nurturing mother and grandmother; a loving sister, aunt, cousin; and a cherished friend to many.
She was predeceased by her father, Vincent Angiuoli, and her father-in-law, Russell T. Chell.
Adrienne leaves behind to mourn her loss, her mother, Norma Duggan, and her husband, James Ellingham; her mother-in-law, Lucille Chell; her loving husband of 35 years, Russell James Chell; her stepdaughter, Gina Snow, and husband Douglas Snow; her children, Russell J. Chell, Jr., and wife Jenna, and Maya A. Chell; her three cherished grandchildren, Leanna, Noah, and Luke; her brother, Peter Angiuoli, and wife Karen; her brother-in-law, James Chell, and wife Susan; her sisters-in-law, Sabrina Chell and Ramona Chell; her stepmother Claudia Angiouli as well as several beloved nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. A service will follow at 4:00 PM, officiated by Gen Kelsang Chogyop. Cremation was held privately.
