Agnes Mae Colvin, 79, of Highgrove returned to her Heavenly Father Friday, February 26, 2016. Mrs. Colvin was born December 31, 1936 in Gravel Switch, Kentucky and was a homemaker. Among those who preceded her in death include her daughter, Mary Hall; parents, Homer Jesse and Ada Smothers and brothers, William Smothers and A. J. Smothers. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Charles Colvin; granddaughter, Jessica Masden (John); great grandchildren, Blake and Destinee; sisters, Edith Lanham and Betty Lanham; close family friend, Sarah Thomas and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday in the chapel of Mt. Washington Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Hwy 44 East one mile east of Bardstown Rd.) with burial in Lebanon National Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Friday until the time of service at Schoppenhorst Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family of Agnes Colvin.
