Agnes Noreen Moore Smith, 84, of Asheboro, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 15, 2025, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A funeral service will be conducted on 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 19, 2025, at Balfour Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Wilburn and Pastor Gary Mason officiating, Burial will be held at Randolph Memorial Park at a later date.
Agnes was born on December 2, 1940, in Moore Co., the daughter of the late Jesse Moore and Mishie Garner Moore. She retired from Black & Decker. Agnes loved her Lord, her church, her family and especially her grandkids. She always had a smile on her face and gave the best hugs. She loved participating in church activities and singing in the choir. Agnes loved and was loved by everybody and will surely be missed by all.
In addition to her parents, Agnes was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Smith.
Agnes is survived by her daughters, Teresa Smith Allmon and husband David of Asheboro, Nita Smith and husband, Andy of Asheboro; grandchildren, Deanna Allmon Rightmyer (Steven), Erica Allmon (Casey), Evan Smith; great grandchildren, Jackson Rightmyer, Ayden Smith, Finnleigh Brady, Harper Smith, Noah Rightmyer, Hudson Kurdian, and Hadley Kurdian.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m., Friday at the church prior to the service, and other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Balfour Baptist Church, 1642 N. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.
