Agnes Louise Teets

Dearest Aggie, a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and cherished friend to many, passed away at the age of 91. Aggie was the cornerstone of our family who taught her children life and love through strength, kindness and faith.

Married in 1954, Aggie succeeds the love of her life, Bill, who passed in 2020. They are survived by their children, Bill (Shawn) Teets and Sally (Michael) Savasky; their grandchildren, Benjamin (Rachel) Savasky and Susan (Shane) Dobbs; great grandchildren, Rory and Scarlett; and many nieces and nephews.

Aggie's gifts were many but her garden and welcoming environment made her house a home; it was a haven for those who came for a cup of tea or to play in her backyard after school. But what made Aggie happiest was the time she spent with her friends and family. She was a compassionate listener and peacemaker who will be remembered for her humor and gentle warmth.

Aggie and Bill were longtime members of Berkley First United Methodist Church where they spent their years growing in faith, friendship, and service.

Memorial visitation for both Bill and Aggie is will be held on Saturday, May 2, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service, 2:00 p.m., at Berkley First United Methodist Church, 2820 Twelve Mile Rd., Berkely.
