Gates: Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at age 88.

Agnes was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Columbia Tantalo Winkler; her sister, Elizabeth Winkler Conti; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She is survived by her aunt, Grace A. Tantalo; cousins, Paula Dailey, Marie Tantalo (Susan Pearce), Paul (Belinda) Tantalo, William Maddison (Bonnie Booth), Michael (Vicki) Triassi, Virginia (Jerry) Capostagno, and MaryJane Witkiewitz (Paul Sivret); brother-in-law, Thomas Conti.

Agnes was born in Rochester, NY on July 17, 1937. She initially worked in retail stores, and then for various attorneys and financial institutions before being hired as a secretary at Xerox Corporation; she retired after 37 years of service there. After retirement, she became a Eucharistic Minister and volunteered at St. Theodore's Roman Catholic Church supporting families of deceased loved ones.

Traveling in the United States and to European countries was one of her favorite things to do, oftentimes with her mother and best friend!

We will miss her sense of fashion and humor and the millions of questions she would ask about any subject being discussed. Her curiosity about everything was insatiable and she loved food -- especially Italian food --- and if the dish was homemade, she would always ask for the recipe. This became a family joke because cooking wasn't her "thing" and the recipe was never used!!!!

The family wishes to extend its sincerest gratitude to Marcia Zona, Agnes's friend, who graciously became her helper and caregiver for the past several years, as she dealt with the numerous health issues she faced. Marcia's devotion and support to Agnes has been extraordinary, particularly in the last several months of her convalescence.

We would like to thank the staff at the Jewish Home, Cottage 1, floor 2, for the exceptional and compassionate care given to Agnes.

Per her wishes, funeral services will be private; interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
