Aidan entered this world to a busy family who loved him from the moment he was born. He was on the go from day one, being toted to sibling activities of summer, then school, and then never-ending activities of a large family. With his giant blue eyes that you could catch often in a wink, he was beloved by so many. Once he could move on his own, he quickly did whatever it took to keep up with his siblings, neighbors, family friends, and cousins. Possessing a natural athletic ability and a fearlessness that made him unique and admired among his siblings, he would jump on his scooter and fly through the neighborhood, Batman costume and all. He liked all sorts of modes of transportation, including his unicycle, pogo stick, skateboarding, rollerblading, swimming and biking, all at an early age. He was an avid fan of cars, eagerly awaiting his chance to be in the driver's seat. This culminated in both a love of and a talent for driving, and he was unanimously accepted as the best driver in the family with by far the tidiest and best maintained vehicle.
He loved to be outside. As he grew up and entered school, he enjoyed wrestling, soccer, and track. He loved our family vacations, especially to the beach, Disney, and anywhere with natural beauty to explore. He only disliked when travel on his actual birthday was involved. He had a big heart for animals and loved the family pets, which inspired him to volunteer at the Humane Society. School was not his favorite pastime, despite having natural ability for math, language arts, and demonstrating hands on ability with anything mechanical. He was so proud of building a minibike for his passion project in eighth grade. He earned his GED during the challenges of COVID, took classes at Ivy Tech community college, searching for his place in this life. He was interested in pursuing a trade in the near future that used his innate intuition for mechanics. Life threw him curveballs that he was working hard to overcome, but heartbreakingly time ran out. He was a fastidiously honest person, even when it did not benefit him. Aidan was sensitive to others and knew how to make his family feel loved, seen, and cared for. He will be remembered by the many who loved him as someone with a big heart, honest and brave, stubborn and flawed, inventive and enterprising, loyal, protective, and loving. Aidan will be missed and leaves an enormous void in our hearts.
