I miss Aidan so much every day still, he was one of my best friends at Saint Pats. I miss him the family and even everyone from the school. I hope all is well I know it's so tough

Missing this boy today, like most other days... I feel a deep sense of loss. There are other days I reminisce about Aidan with a smile, remembering his thick unruley hair and carefree ways. I can still see him dancing around my living room leading the "train" with 8 boys in a line. Aidan's arms in the air, chugging along and singing. Aidan allowed the other boys to let loose and be themselves, he was that secure with himself...incredible for only 12!
In my house we speak of Aidan often. In his memory, we try new foods off the menu, challenge ourselves when we are afraid of new adventures and use Aidan as a moral compass in our daily lives. A sentence my children hear often is "what do you think Aidan would do?". Still the best boy I ever new...and I miss him.
Happy Birthday Buddy...
