He was preceded in death by his granddad George Hicks; and grandmother Angela Thompson.
He is survived by his parents Ricky and Jennifer Shepherd of Newport; brother and sister Alex and Adeline Shepherd both of Newport; grandparents Ricky and Melissa Shepherd; great-grandmother Jennie Hicks of Cosby; aunts and uncles Zeke and Krista Thompson, Kristy Thompson, Lashannon Wilson, Gina Vance, Jesse Ashby, and Daniel and Kimberly Shepherd all of Newport; also several nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church with Mike Strange officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Saturday at Dutch Bottoms Baptist Church prior to the Memorial Service
Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com.
