Aileen Jones Sharp

Mrs. Aileen Jones Sharp, age 88 of Dalton, Georgia departed this life Saturday, December 27, 2025 at The Reserve Assisted Living Facility in Woodstock, Georgia. She was born February 21, 1937 in Blue Ridge, GA, a daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt and Bessie Ann Foster Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband Neal Sharp, grandson who gave his life for his country LCPL USMC Charles Seth Sharp, brothers, Clinton Jones, Wilburn Jones, Wildon Jones, sister Ovia Lois Baynes, Wanda Sue Patterson Rhodes, Lula Jane Martin.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Michael Keehley of Canton, GA; sons and daughter-in-law, Neal Edward "Rusty" Sharp Jr. of Dalton, GA, Ric and Tiffany Sharp of Adairsville, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Evelyn Jones of Dalton, GA; sister, Ora Lee McClure of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Brooks, Cameron, Kaitlyn, Taylor, and Corey; great grandchildren, Ryker and Eli; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Aileen Jones Sharp will be held Friday January 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Bobby Green and Pastor Steve Morrow officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Hipps Chapel Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
