Aimee Bazan

Aimee Bazan passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at the age of 40, in San Antonio, Texas. Born on November 4, 1985, in Victoria, Texas, Aimee's infectious laughter, big personality, and generous spirit were a gift to all who knew her.
Aimee was the cherished daughter of Veronica and Bobby Bazan. Family was her entire world, and she poured her heart into being a devoted mother to her children-Karissa, Eli, and Noah-who were the center of her universe. She loved attending her children's activities and was always the loudest in the crowd, cheering them on with pride and joy.
Following her children, Aimee is survived by her loving husband, Wess Sorensen, who brought companionship, laughter, and unwavering support into her life.
She is also survived by her siblings, Cory and Gabby Bazan, Bobbie Bazan and Josh Montano, Oscar Bazan, and Cruz Bazan; and by her grandmother, Jovita Hernandez. She was a devoted aunt to Lucas Montano, Ariana Montano, Pablo Montano, Colton Bazan, Cameron Bazan, and Cataleya Bazan. She is further survived by countless aunts, uncles, and cousins who adored her, including Lori Hernandez, David Hernandez, Tommy Hernandez Jr., Diana Bazan, Bob Bazan, and Benny Bazan.
Aimee was preceded in death by her grandparents Tommy Hernandez, Amelia Bazan, and Pablo Bazan, as well as her beloved aunts and uncles Amy Bazan Rosales, Eloy Bazan, and San Juanita Bazan.
Aimee loved being surrounded by friends and family. Her presence brought comfort and joy, and she had a way of making every gathering feel warm, lively, and full of love. Professionally, Aimee shined in the hospitality service industry, where her vibrant personality made everyone feel welcome. Nobody was ever a stranger to her-she had a gift for making people feel seen, appreciated, and instantly comfortable.
Aimee's legacy will live on through the memories she created the people she touched, and the family she loved so deeply.
