Aimee Packard Obituary

Aimee Marie Packard

July 13, 1972 ~ March 24, 2025

Highland, Utah-It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Aimee Marie Little Packard, who left us far too soon at the age of 52. After a brave 5-year battle with cancer, Aimee passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her family and friends.

Aimee was born on July 13, 1972, in Kanab, Kane County, UT, and from the very beginning, she brought joy, light, and kindness into the world. Aimee's infectious smile, authentic spirit, and caring nature touched the lives of everyone she met. Whether it was through her 25 years of leadership at Southwest Airlines, her deep and lasting friendships, or her role as a loving wife and mother, Aimee was known for her unwavering compassion, her boundless generosity, and her ability to make everyone feel seen, heard, and valued.

Inspired by The Sound of Music, Aimee always dreamed of being a mother to many children. She lovingly took on the role of stepmother to six children, offering them unconditional love and kindness. She became a proud mother to five beautiful children whom she absolutely cherished. Aimee was a devoted wife, loving mother, sister, daughter, aunt, "Mimi," and a cherished friend to countless others. Her love for music, travel, beautifying her surroundings, hosting gatherings, serving her family, and spending time with those she adored was truly remarkable. Aimee dedicated herself wholeheartedly to every role she embraced. Anyone who came to her as a stranger always left as her dearest friend. Her personability, patience, and positivity in the face of life's challenges were a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

Above all, Aimee's legacy will live on through the lasting impact she had on everyone she touched. She had an extraordinary ability to make people feel special and loved, often going out of her way to offer support, encouragement, and kindness. Her heart was as big as her spirit, and she will be dearly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Aimee and Owen were sealed in the Dallas, Texas, Temple on May 1, 2004. Aimee is survived by her husband, Owen Earl Packard; her five children, Luke Olson Packard, Mia Grace Packard, Alice Kate Packard, Joseph Wilson Packard, and Lily Jo Packard; her six stepchildren, Stephanie Crandall, Valerie Jackson, Craig Packard, Kent Packard, James Packard, and Melanie Jarvis; her sisters, Lisa Little-Ream and Jill Kearl; her brothers, Anthony Little, Aaron Little, and Benjamin Little; her mother, Patricia Ann Younger; and her father, Willis Olson Little. She was preceded in death by her older sister, Tiffany Ann Little.

The family will be holding a service to honor and remember Aimee's life.

Aimee, you will forever remain in our hearts, and your love and light will continue to guide us. Rest in peace until we meet again. You will never be forgotten.
