Alaine Lippe Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 10, 2025.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Alaine A. (Dumont) Lippe, on January 6, 2025, at her home in Thorndike. Born on October 20, 1955, in Malone, New York, Alaine was a beloved daughter, sister, mother and grandmother.

Alaine grew up in Malone, NY before moving to Thorndike during her teenage years, where she continued to reside throughout her life. Her love for gardening and flowers painted her world with vibrant hues. Her passion for crafts was a testament to her creativity. A cat lover, Alaine adored her two companions, Bert and Ernie, who brought her endless joy and comfort.

Alaine was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Beverly (Belthazard) Dumont, as well as her cherished siblings, Carl, Mike, Steve, and Scott. She leaves behind a family that carries her legacy forward: her daughters Nicky Donato and her husband Tony of Thorndike, and Brandy Tobin and her husband Patrick of Three Rivers. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Befford of Ware, and four grandchildren, Hunter and Kyle Cienciwa, Khloey Lippe, and Ava Donato, who were the pride and joy of her life.

In keeping with Alaine's wishes, all services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. For her love of animals, in lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 111 Young Rd., East Brookfield, MA 01515, in her memory.
