Alan's passion for life was evident in his many interests, including an enthusiastic appreciation for SciFi films, Hot Rod cars, and the mechanics of car motors. He often spoke of his dream of owning a Corvette. Alan also found joy in tinkering with electronics and computers. In his earlier years, Alan enjoyed going to various flea markets and thrift stores, searching for hidden treasures and good buys.

He was a proud grandpa to Aliza, Nolan, Evander, and the soon-to-arrive baby Annalyn. He is also survived by his father, Alan B. (Pam) Ball; his sisters, Alanis Ball and Crystal Ball; and a special aunt, Julie Hassell. Furthermore, Alan also leaves behind nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Among his faithful companions was his beloved puppy dog, Indy, who brought joy to his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl (Hawkins) Ball; his brother, Jeremy Ball; and his grandparents, Marie Hawkins and George and Louise Ball.
