Alan Busselman Obituary

Published by Legacy on Jan. 23, 2026.
Alan Lee Busselman, age 82, of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and quiet strength.

Alan was a devoted family man who deeply cherished time spent with his loved ones and was always there when someone called and needed help. His steady presence, kind heart, and unwavering support meant everything to those closest to him.

Alan found joy in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed playing poker, fishing while living on Lake St. Clair, and especially deer hunting up north at the family cabin in Lewiston, Michigan, where he shared special moments with his son, father, and brother. Those trips created lasting memories filled with laughter, tradition, and strong family bonds.

Alan dedicated over 30 years of service to Ford Motor Company, working in the automotive industry as a Superintendent before retiring in 2001. He took great pride in his work and carried that same sense of responsibility and care into his family life.

Alan is lovingly remembered by his son, Glen Busselman; his grandchildren, Scott Busselman and Amanda Wright; and his four great-grandchildren.

Alan was preceded in death by his daughter, Leslie Busselman; his parents, Melvin and Geneva Compton; and his siblings, George, Jim, Everette, and Jeanette.

Alan will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his reliability, and the quiet ways he made everyone feel supported and cared for. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know and love him.
