Alan Dinges

Alan Dinges, 78, of Cleveland, TN passed away on 04/12/2024. Alan was a devoted follower of Jesus and his faith in God was the most important thing to him in life. He was a man who loved being out on the water, whether it was out on the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans or just cruising along a serene lake. He also had a passion for golf and always enjoyed a good game. But the one thing he cherished above all else was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is now reunited with his parents, Theodore and Marilda Dinges and his brother Ronnie Dinges. Left behind to treasure his memory are his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Janice Dinges; his children Roxanne Ungerott (Jeff), Don Dinges (Veronica), and Jeri Renee Gobble (Jeff); as well as a whole troop of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who meant the world to him. His grandchildren: Nathan Faupel, Corey Goodwin (Wendy), Carter Dinges, Miranda Dinges, Ethan Gobble (Taylor), Sydney Gobble, Cole Gobble, Madison Hiddleson (Elijah), and Callie Gobble; great grandchildren Colter Gobble and Katie Goodwin.
Alan's family is planning to receive friends this Saturday, April 20th, at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home from 11am until 1pm, where you can share your memories of Alan and offer your condolences. It will be a chance to come together, remember him fondly, and support one another. A celebration of his life will be held at 1pm.
Let's remember Alan Dinges for the wonderful man he was and the joy he brought to all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
