Funeral services for Alan Finley will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10:00 am at Minden Church of Christ in Minden, Louisiana with Tracy Winget officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Alan was born March 25, 1957, in Ft Worth, Texas and went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 4, 2025, in Arcadia, Louisiana. Alan married his childhood sweetheart and best friend in 1974. He and Connie loved traveling, and their special place was Cody Wy and Yellowstone. Alan owned and operated Mobil1 Lube center for 12 years and was an I&E inspector. He was raised with a love for bikes, especially his favorite Harley which he rode for 20 plus years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Glenda Finley and his brother, Cary Finley.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Finley; son Shannon Dale Finley; daughter, Sandy Finley McLeod; sister, Trena Cook; and brother, Terry Finley.
Pallbearers will be Tony Davidson, Jason Winget, Chris Winget, Jonathon Robinson, Peyton Gray, and Chris Hall.
The family extends special thanks to St. Joseph Hospice staff for the care given their loved one.
