Alan Ray Frederickson

Alan Ray Frederickson, age 59, died peacefully in his sleep at home of natural causes on March 16, 2023 in Kenner, La.
Alan is survived by his sister, Vickie and husband Robert Griffin, their children Jason, Corey, and Stephanie of Sulphur, La; his brother John Frederickson of Kenner, La; and his brother David and wife Debbie Frederickson and their son David of Virginia Beach, Va.
Alan is preceded in death by his mother and father William A. Frederickson of Tomah, Wisconsin and Ruth A. Frederickson of Covington, Georgia.
Alan was born on August 6, 1963 in Warner Robbins, Georgia to parents William A. and Ruth A. Frederickson. He attended Sulphur High School and following he worked in the construction field including working off shore in Louisiana and across the country from Georgia to California.
Alan was a cancer survivor, who enjoyed all sports, especially LSU football and baseball games and regularly tailgated and attended games, he was an avid Braves fan and loved to play golf. Alan loved to cook. He was never bashful and loved to share his thoughts and opinions on life. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, kind, gentle soul that never met a stranger, he always had a smile on his face and was quick to laugh, he loved animals and loved on line gaming.
A memorial is scheduled for Alan on April 1, 2023 at Mimosa Pines Cemetery, Carlyss, La.
