Born on November 6, 1962 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was preceded in death by father, Marion Martin; mother, Barbara Jackson; sister, Stara Jackson, and brother, Sterling Trice.
Alan is survived by his daughter, Stara L. Jackson; his brother, Joseph Mucker; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Alan Jackson attended the Jefferson County Public School System. He went on to work as a contract remodeling laborer. Alan was an avid University of Louisville fan and enjoyed dancing and singing. He also had a playful side and occasionally loved to dress up. He was a member of Little Flock Missionary Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.
