Alan Luckadoo

Alan Luckadoo, age 63, of Ellenboro, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at the Wendover Hospice House in Shelby. Born Sunday, July 19, 1953 in Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Joyce Condrey Luckadoo and C. Paul Luckadoo who resides in Ellenboro. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School, class of 1972 and a member of Race Path Baptist Church. Alan was a welder and worked in the construction industry. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Pat Luckadoo. In addition to his father, survivors include three sons, Timmy Luckadoo and wife, Dana of Shelby, Tony Luckadoo and wife, Sharon of Rutherford County and Charlie Luckadoo of Blacksburg, SC; two brothers, Gary Luckadoo of Marion and Danny Luckadoo and wife, Becky of Shelby. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Kaylan Luckadoo, Makenzie Luckadoo, Ragan Deveney, Madison Luckadoo, Wyatt Luckadoo and Trey Luckadoo; a niece, Mandy Luckadoo of Shelby along with a number of other nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Race Path Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
