Alan J. Dalla Palu, age 77, of Clinton Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, November 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on February 4, 1948, in Allentown, PA, Alan was the son of the late Amorino and Anna (Oswald) Dalla Palu. He spent his early years in Allentown before settling in Clinton Township in 1983. Alan cherished his time at the family's vacation home in Ocean City, NJ, where many of his happiest memories were made.

Alan was the devoted husband of Linda E. (Zukas) Dalla Palu. Married in 1969, they shared 56 wonderful years together, building a life centered on love, family, and unwavering support for one another.

Alan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Tri-State College in Angola, IN. His professional career included serving as Corporate Controller for Siemens Manufacturing in Trenton, NJ, and later worked as Chief Financial Officer for Leistriz Advanced Technologies Corporation in Winston-Salem, NC. After retiring, he continued to enjoy meaningful work at Stowaway Self Storage in Branchburg, NJ. His career took him across the world, and he embraced the opportunity to travel internationally.

A devoted grandfather, Alan took immense pride in supporting his grandchildren in all their endeavors-especially motocross and lacrosse. He never missed a chance to cheer them on. Alan was also a passionate car enthusiast and proud owner of an Austin-Healey 2000. He maintained all of his vehicles with meticulous care, just as he did his home and property.

Alan loved the beach, time in Ocean City, and the years he spent living in Winston-Salem, NC. He was proud to serve on the Board for Industries for the Blind in Winston-Salem and on the Board of the Hamilton Horizons Credit Union in Hamilton, NJ. His dedication to service and community was a constant throughout his life.

In addition to his beloved wife, Linda, Alan is survived by his three daughters, who brought him great joy: Gina Freeborn and her husband, Steven, of Glen Gardner, NJ; Angela Donnelly and her husband, Rob, of Stewartsville, NJ; and Christina Cirigliano and her husband, Matthew, of Kingwood Township, NJ.

He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren-Kayla and Ryan Freeborn, Samantha, Robby, and Jimmy Donnelly-as well as his beloved pets: Hannah, Cooper, and Alley.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 12:00 p.m., all at Scarponi-Bright Funeral Home, 26 Main Street, Lebanon, NJ. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hunterdon Health Foundation, with designation to the Hunterdon Cancer Center or Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822, or by visiting the Hunterdon Health Foundation website.
