Mr. Alan Wade Reynolds, age 42, a lifelong resident of Franklin, KY departed his worldly life for a new eternal life with Jesus Christ in heaven on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. at Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. A Memorial Service will be held the same day, Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Reynolds wishes were to be cremated. His ashes will be interred into Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.
Alan was born on April 14, 1982, in Bowling Green, KY to Dr. Roy Reynolds, who survives, and the late Sharon Munson Reynolds.
In addition to being survived by his father, he is also survived by his stepmother, Judy Thompson Reynolds of Franklin, KY; a half-brother, Brian Watwood (Jennifer) of Franklin, KY and his son, Jaxon Watwood of Franklin, KY; one aunt, Gwendolyn Webb of Lexington, KY; cousins, Monica Webb and her daughter, Ava Elveus of Lexington, KY; cousin Tasha Harilson (Noel) of Nicholasville, KY and her children, Ella, Campbell, and Preston Harilson; and many good friends.
He will be missed by his faithful canine companions, Shadow and Lacy.
Alan was a 2000 graduate of Franklin-Simpson High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology minoring in criminology and business from Western Kentucky University.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Humane Society (Simpson County Chapter). Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
