Alan Paul Sauder, 75, of Washington, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born on August 9, 1950, in Peoria to Chester C. and Jean (Wallace) Sauder. He is survived by his wife, Carol. Also surviving are five children, Mike (Tina) Brumley, Montgomery (Maggie) Sauder, Ashleigh (Rob) Sauder-Brooks, David Thompson, Daniel (Stephanie) Thompson; eight grandchildren, Joshua (Justina), Connor, Piper, Mason, Kaylee, Kamden, Tanner, Chase; two great-grandchildren, Laura and Lucas; two siblings, Sharon Trevathan, Todd Sauder; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Joe Trevathan.

Alan was a United States Army Veteran. He worked 36 years for Vonachen Service and Supply in Peoria, retiring as Vice President.

Alan was proud to be one of the original 12th Man golf teams supporting them for 40 years. His favorite vacation place was by far Panama City Beach and Norfolk Lake.

Per his wishes cremation has been accorded. There will be a Memorial Service at Connect Church in Washington on Wednesday April 1, at 12:00 pm with Pastor Dave Jane officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Inurnment will be at Glendale Cemetery in Washington at a later date.
