Such a hard time of year to lose a loved one...saying and giving prayers for the family.

May God always give you comfort through the tears, the heavy grief, the laughter, the sorrow, the confusion, and the anger. The stages will come and they will pass. We all will be praying.

We are so sorry for the loss of Alan. I knew your family from Assumption as I helped in Alder's class. When your family came to Madison's birthday party Alan and my husband caught the kids from sledding into the road. Alan's passing will is a huge loss to everyone that knew him as well as his family. Alan had a smile that could light up a room, i have known Alan for a long time, probably one of the nicest people i have ever met.

I haven't seen Alan for a very long time, but I remember fondly going the the Swartz house as a kid and hanging out, watching movies, and skateboarding in the back yard with Alan and Brian. So sad to hear of this great loss! My family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Wow, Worked with Al at chemical plant in Fairport Harbor. Worked together for about 5 years, we both got hired on the same day. And for my last about 2 years we worked on the same shift. My deepest condolences to Mystica the kids and all the family. R.I.P. "Big Al", too soon for you bro.

Spent a lot of time with Alan through out my teen and early 20's...he was a great guy and this is so sad! My condolences to his family!

Everyone new Al as the happy guy, he always had a smile on his face and never said anything negative. My wife and kids met him at the movie theater in mentor after a long day of work. He was so happy to be able to meet his wife and kids for a movie. He cared ALOT about being able to to things with and for his familty. Seeing Al's smiling face in the morning will be missed. Smiles are contagious and you alway put a smile on our face. Thank you for that, you will be missed.
