Albert LeRoy Adair was born October 11, 1932 in Raham, New Mexico. He left his earthly life on November 14, 2025, in Snowflake, Arizona.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents Kenneth Roy Adair and Ella Merrill, his siblings, Kenneth B Stradling(Adair), LaVaughn, Jean, Paul and Lyle. His two sons Paul Dirk and Shayle Kit, his grandson Chet Adair, Great-granddaughter Brytli Yates, son-in-law Rodney P Crook, and three wives Gwen Goodman, Connie Baca and Lucy Lacey as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his daughter Teri Crook (Rodney P Crook-deceased), daughter-in-law Connie(Dirk-deceased), Son Todd Adair (Toni) and son Clate Adair(Stephanie), 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren. 3 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Albert was a very hard worker. He was always very honest in his dealings with others. He was a heavy equipment operator and worked in road construction for many years. He delivered propane for Gallup Propane for some time He worked 14 years for P&M Coal Mine operating their big coal shovel. He loved doing backhoe work for people. Most people who knew him considered him to be one of the very best backhoe operators around the country. Eventually he bought his own backhoe and dump truck and started his own business. He was very proud of his business and always stayed very busy with it.

He was an active Lions Club member and he loved to rodeo. He was a bull rider and he helped many youth learn to ride in different events in the rodeo through the Lions Club program. He was also an active member of the Elks Club. He truly loved these organizations and was honored to be a member. He was loved and respected by those who knew him in the community.

Albert lived in Ramah with his family in his younger years and then moved to Gallup for the rest of his life with the exception of the last 4.5 years when his daughter and son moved him to Arizona, where he lived until he died.

No public service will be held. There will be a private family gatherings at a later date.
