Another year, Dad. Today I detailed your 1961 Nash Metropolitan and went for a ride. It seems to be running great for the first time in a while. Especially thinking of you and Giana today.

Dear dad, April 30 was your 4 year anniversary of being with Jesus - and seeing your beloved granddaughter - my baby, Giana again. I'm sitting in my Jeep at Holley Falls, NY having a tough day. Wish we could talk, but that will have to wait for a time.

My dad, age 80; his granddaughter, Giana, age 14 (who passed in June 2016 from injuries sustained via our 12/24/15 encounter with a drunk driver). What an incredibly difficult time. The pain continues, but I'm thankful that there is certain hope for those who die in Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

Al had his special (hand shake) which would make me laugh. He always was willing and helpful giving me advice about anything we would be discussing. I would call Al most of the time when I would be in Calif. AL, I love you and will always thing back in time of all of our vast conversation.

Have comfort in knowing that God is close to those who are brokenhearted. Because of God's love expressed through the ransom sacrifice of his Son, Jesus Christ, we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again. He keeps them all in his memory. May you find comfort, strength and hope in the Father of comfort and tender mercies.

Hi Tony, Lois, and Pat,
I was disappointed to hear of Al's physical death. Joyful that he has a new eternal body in the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus, and is worshiping at the throne of God.

I love my dad so much and weep as I write these words. But I'm thankful for a great father who loved me and taught me so much. No one could ask for a better daddy - and now he has joined our 14 year old daughter, his cherished granddaughter, Giana (who went to be with the Lord subsequent to our encounter with a drunk driver on Dec. 24, 2015).
God used you to bring me to Christ and by God's generous grace we will see each other again.
