Albert Carbajal, 55, surrounded by his family entered the Kingdom of Heaven to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on October 4, 2023. He was born to Juan Franco, II and Delia N. Carbajal in El Paso, Texas. The youngest of seven children Albert graduated from high school and went on to join the United States Navy. He spent his tour at the Naval Station Pearl Harbor in Hawaii where he started his wonderful family. His cherished children include his daughter; Heather Deanne and son; Scott Anthony. Albert later enlisted into the United States Army where he served his country proudly for 20 years. His awards included the National Defense Medal, Global war on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, Senior Aircraft Crewman Badge to name few in his decorated years of service. After retirement, Albert enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Delia Negrette Carbajal, his father and best friend Juan Franco Carbajal II. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved children; Heather Deanne Wood (Curtis), Scott Anthony Carbajal (Miriam), three precious grandsons; Trenton Wood, Davis Wood and Reivik Carbajal, his dear siblings; Juan Carbajal III (Rosie), Gloria Grenzebach, Belinda Albertson (Matt), David Carbajal (Gloria), Gilbert Carbajal, Ann Chinn (Bo), his aunts; Carol Hoover, Lucy Solomon, Antonia Negrette, many cherished nephews, nieces, numerous cousins, extended family, his dear friend Rebecca Ramirez-Baeza and many lifelong friends. A Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday November 9, 2023, with a Holy Rosary at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-West. A Graveside Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with full military honors.
