Albert L. Cargnello

Albert L. Cargnello, 67, of Houston, passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Born on August 27, 1958, Albert was the son of the late Betty and Albert M. Cargnello. He carried their values of kindness, hard work, and devotion throughout his life. Albert's greatest joy came from his family. He is survived by his children: Ashley (Andrew) Simmons, Erica (Jeff) Monoskey, and Ryan (fiancee, Valerie) Cargnello; and by their mother, his companion and friend, Candy Craft. He was the proud and loving "Pap Pap" to Emma Ramirez, Track Monoskey, Ellie Simmons, Kellan Cargnello, Peyton Monoskey, Eva Cargnello and Josie Simmons, each of whom brought him immeasurable happiness. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as his beloved dog and constant companion, Fifi. An outdoorsman at heart, Albert found peace and joy in nature. He loved hunting, fishing and taking long walks with Fifi by his side. But more than anything, Albert cherished time with his children and grandchildren. WHATEVER they wanted to do: crafts, baking, games, painting his toenails, cutting his hair, 5 Below and Dollar Store trips, buying WHATEVER they wanted. He was always ready with a joke or a smile. He never missed a practice or a game, and most Saturdays he could be found traveling from one sporting event to the next, cheering louder than anyone. Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 24, at Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Rd., McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
