Albert Lyman Christensen

FRANKFORT - Albert Lyman Christensen, passed away, November 12, 2023, peacefully, at home, in the Town of Frankfort, NY.
Albert was born on June 22, 1930, in Provo, UT, son of the late Nephi Albert Christensen and Leda (Lyman) Christensen. Albert was always proud of all his family accomplishments and especially his children and grandchildren. Albert retired from MVCC as a Professor in Civil Engineering, in 1989. He also was a Tai Chi instructor at MVCC and recently received the Excellence in Non-Credit Teaching award at age 93! He was the founding member of the International Shotokan Karate Federation Club originally started at MVCC. He proudly was a veteran of the United States Air Force (meteorologist) and the United States Navy.
He enjoyed spending his time writing while listening to peaceful music. He especially loved his long walks on the 18 acres of groomed trails on his property.
Al is survived by his siblings; children; and grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother.
There are no calling hours or services. Albert's cremated remains will be laid to rest with military veteran honors at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
