Albert Coleman Obituary

Albert Easley Coleman, age 93, of Nashville, Tennessee, was born on July 7, 1932, in Little Lot, Tennessee, to the late Leonard and Maurine Easley Coleman. He entered eternal rest on December 21, 2025, in Nashville.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janet Mayo Coleman; his sisters, Jean Fanning (Clifford) and Nancy Murphree (Jim); and his brother, Larry Coleman.

He is survived by his daughters: Martha McNeese (Bobby), Gail Hall, Karen Yates (Joe), Sharon and her husband Peter, and Elizabeth Sinor (Scott). He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, sister Joyce Warbington, and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will cherish his memory.

Mr. Coleman proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring as a Chief Petty Officer—an accomplishment of which he was deeply proud. He was a compassionate, patriotic, funny, and dedicated man whose resilience and strength were evident throughout his life.

In his free time, he enjoyed watching NHRA, NASCAR, and wrestling, and he was an avid collector of NHRA and NASCAR memorabilia. He loved traveling with his wife, especially trips to California. Christmas was his favorite time of year, when he found the greatest joy in being surrounded by his family, whom he loved deeply. A simple nightly pleasure was a bowl of Bryers vanilla bean ice cream with oatmeal cookies. During his children’s younger years, he especially cherished camping trips, where he delighted in teaching them how to camp and fish.

Mr. Coleman will be remembered most for the deep love he had for his wife and family. They were truly his purpose and passion, and his legacy of devotion, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
