Albert Joseph Davis, Jr., 38, entered into eternal rest on January 13, 2025, at his residence. Albert was born in Jennings, LA on September 22, 1986, to his loving parents, Albert Joseph Davis Sr. and Jamesetta Lea Barker-Davis. He was educated in the Jefferson Davis Parish School System and later received his GED. Albert previously worked as a Chef with the renowned chefs, John Folse & Emeril Lagasse. He later worked as a Production Foreman with Chatman Construction in Lake Arthur, LA. Albert was a member of Union Baptist Church in Jennings, LA, pastored by Reverend Gerald W. Perkins Sr. Albert previous was a member of the Union Baptist Church Choir and currently served as an Usher. Albert loved spending time with his family and friends. Some of his favorite past times were cooking, fishing, shopping, and cleaning.
Albert is survived by his children, Albert J. Davis III of Jennings, LA, Charmelle Davis of Lake Charles, LA, Jeremiah Davis of Kinder, LA, and Christian Davis of Chicago, IL; his sisters, KaRonn M. Davis (Desmond) of Jennings, LA, Rochelle D. Davis of Jennings, LA, Alzina Taylor of Lake Charles, LA, and Ayana E. Lee of Jennings, LA; his brother, Junius Taylor of San Antonio, TX; bonus sister, Mignon Lennette and bonus brother, Christopher Lennette both of Jennings, LA; Bonus mom, Ms. Cheryl Evans of Jennings, LA; a special niece, Lazaria Davis of Jennings, LA; special uncle, Karlis "Rocky" Davis of Jennings, LA; special cousins, Wilbert B. Rochelle and Jordan R. Davis; a special nanny, Margolyn Pattum (George); a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, godchildren, family, and friends.
Albert was preceded in death by on daughter, Charmelle D. Davis; his parents, Albert J. Davis Sr. and Jamesetta Lea Barker-Davis; his paternal grandparents, Preston & Mary Eulena Davis; his maternal grandparents, James Barker and Mildred Alice Rochelle-Barker.
