Albert Lee Easterling

On November 7, 2017, Albert Lee Easterling was called home to Heaven to join his mother and other loved ones. Al had many accomplishments in the business world, but what mattered most to him was his family and friends. Al loved and cared for his children very much and especially his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Through hard work, determination and an ever-optimistic attitude, Al started and maintained a contracting business in and around Austin from 1974 to 2017. Through good economies to bad economies, Al always saw the positive and inspired those around him to work just a little harder and succeed. He was a friend to everyone. His kindness and generousness of time and treasure will be missed by many. Al was proud of his service to his Country. He served with distinction in the US Army from 1959 to 1962 as a Tank Commander of the 4th Army Division in Germany. Al often recalled how he was held over in Germany due to the Cuban missile crisis. He greatly loved his Country and traditional family values. Besides running a business, Al loved to travel, hunt and to fish. Al and his wife of 31-years, Mary, traveled to many beautiful locations throughout the United States and across the world. They loved to pick a place, make a plan and fly off to see the sights together. They made countless memories together and shared their experiences with family and friends. He is preceded in death by: his mother, Coralie Easterling and his aunt, Alfreda Cain. Al is survived by his wife Mary Bohn; her daughter Becky Traylor and husband Steve; her daughter Amy Stitt; her son Paul Bohn and wife Cynthia; his son Michael Lee Easterling and wife Caren; his daughter Tracey Lee Watson and Gary Iserhardt; his son Paul Albert Easterling and wife Ginger; his daughter Suzanne Adams and husband Mike. Grandchildren are Kelley Villareal, Ashley Watson, Justin Watson, Derek Easterling, Allison Easterling, Dylan Easterling, Erin Easterling, Megan Easterling, Ethan Easterling, Weston Jakobitz, James Stitt, Emily Stitt, Amanda Bohn and Nicholas Bohn. Great grandchildren Melissa Villareal, Evan Villareal, Riley Watson, Paisley Carter Watson, Emma Carter Watson, and Hailey Michelle Stenberg. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him. Services will be at 10:00 am Monday, November 13, 2017 at Weed-Corley-Fish, 411 Ranch Road 620 South, Lakeway, TX 78734. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Luling Cemetery, US 90, Luling, TX 78648.
