On the 20th memory of You my dear brother Albert .. With A Bowed Head, Broken Heart, Silent Tear, Bitter Anger I remember you.. I remember every second of every minute of every hour of what happened on that day. remembering my reaction thousands of miles away .. the feeling of lostness . The little hope I had back then that you answer your phone. every ring.. I was hoping you would pick up... but you did not . I imagine the pain you must have gone through. I am very sorry that I couldn't help you!. I am Sorry that I was not there. I am sorry I failed you. We all failed you. I am sorry.
I thank you for 31 years you have lived. 28 of which with me. You were so kind to me. I love you "brother". "brother" : the word I miss saying every since 9/11/2001!
Your forever loving brother, William

I never had the pleasure to meet you, Albert. I grieve particularly that you never knew the joys of fatherhood; that that experience was robbed from you. Every 9/11 I read about the life of someone lost that terrible day, and imagine my surprise to read a story of a Toronto guy made good. I hope your daughter knows what a good man you were, and even 17 years later I still remember that terrible day with absolute clarity. God speed.

I know Albert when he was working with me in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. He is always smiling and pleasant. In 1997 I moved to U.S and had one conversation over the phone with Albert. He mentioned to me that he won the lottery visa and planning to move to States. While we were working together he told me that he will be engaged soon.
Years after I came to know that this horrible thing happened .
My prayers are with him and to his family.

When I am dead, my dearest
When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.

Today the congregation of St. Bartholomews prayed for your soul, your wife and your child. Albert, we pray that you were met by the kind face and warm embrace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
On the rough wet grass of the back yard my father and mother have spread quilts. We all lie there, my mother, my father, my uncle, my aunt, and I too am lying there....They are not talking much, and the talk is quiet, of nothing in particular, of nothing at all. The stars are wide and alive, they seem each like a smile of great sweetness, and they seem very near. All my people are larger bodies than mine,...with voices gentle and meaningless like the voices of sleeping birds. One is an artist, he is living at home. One is a musician, she is living at home. One is my mother who is good to me. One is my father who is good to me. By some chance, here they are, all on this earth; and who shall ever tell the sorrow of being on this earth, lying, on quilts, on the grass, in a summer evening, among the sounds of the night. May God bless my people, my uncle, my aunt, my mother, my good father, oh, remember them kindly in their time of trouble; and in the hour of their taking away.
After a little I am taken in and put to bed. Sleep, soft smiling, draws me unto her: and those receive me, who quietly treat me, as one familiar and well-beloved in that home: but will not, oh, will not, not now, not ever; but will not ever tell me who I am.
I belive that's how Jesus received Albert

We are deeply sorry for your loss of Albert. May his life and love continue living on in his new daughter to be and in those who love him. Our hearts cry with you.
America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
