Oliver Rogers

I am very saddened by Randy's passing. We grew up together in Westwood and went to school together for twelve years ( St. Andrews and Porter Gaud ). Played basketball together and got into our share of trouble together too. I' ll never forget how excited he was by the white GTO convertible his parents gave him for him and Dixie to go cruising around in. We lost touch when we both went out of state to go to college but I will always count him as a friend. May God bless and keep you Randy Goer .

I was so shocked and saddened by the loss of Randy. My deepest condolences and sympathy to the family and sincere regret that I couldn't be there. I know how terribly hard it is to lose a sibling, but from experience, the ache does ease and the memories are always there. One day, the joy of having had him in your life will outweigh the grief of not having him right here. Love and sympathy to you all, Bootsie

Mr. Goer was a true Charlestonian who created an incredible family. His son, Ryan, is a true friend and wonderful man just like his father. Mr. Goer showed me kindness and he will be remembered with fondness and admiration. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Goers. We know Randy will live on through you all. Love, Rich and Michaela

I was saddened to learn of the loss of Randy. We were classmates at St Andrews Elementary School. We had assigned seats and somehow almost every year I was seated behind Randy . He was clearly one of the smartest students in the class. He was also one of the most sincerely well liked people in his grade. Both teachers and students thought highly of Randy. He was very entertaining and fun and a kind person. We ended up going to different schools after 6th grade, though my daughter and Ryan were later classmates at Porter Gaud. I am saddened by your great loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
