I was so sorry to learn that my ole friend, Albert, has passed away. I met Al at the FBI Academy in Quantaco Virginia in 1997. We enjoyed sharing stories of our Law Enforcement careers and of our Love for our Families. Al was like a "Big Brother" to me, helping me deal with being away from home for those 11 weeks. We enjoyed a trip to Gettysburg to visit the civil war battlefields. I always thought that I knew a lot about that conflict, but Al was an expert, sharing his knowledge with me and an Officer from a different country that went along with us. After graduation from the Academy, Al and I stayed in touch over the internet. Today I learned that Al passed away last February. I wish that I had another chance to talk with him before he passed. Such a GOOD Man. My sincere condolences to his Family and Friends. He will be missed...
