Albert Kelting Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allen Mortuary - Turlock on Mar. 10, 2026.
Albert Kelting passed away at the age of 59, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply and a legacy that will live on through them. Albert grew up known for his athletic ability and was a sports standout. Not long after graduating, he married his high school sweetheart Kimberly, beginning a lifelong partnership that would span 39 years. At a young age he stepped into the responsibility of fatherhood, welcoming his first child at just 19 years old. From that moment on, Albert dedicated his life to providing for and raising his family.
Albert was a hardworking man who believed in leading by example. For more than half of his life he worked alongside his best friend Steve Huber and his wife Julie Huber, driving truck for American Valley. His days often began before sunrise and ended late into the night. Even after long hours on the road, Albert would come home and stay up late helping his children through whatever challenges they were facing. No matter how many sleepless nights he endured, he would get up the next morning and go right back to work.
He constantly encouraged his children to pursue something greater for their lives. Albert pushed them to learn trades, start businesses, go to college, and chase their dreams. Whether it was building bee boxes, growing fruits and vegetables, fixing cars, or learning new skills, Albert believed in working with your hands and reaching for the stars. If his children were ever in trouble or in need, he would be there in an instant.
Although Albert was a private man, his love for his family was unmistakable. He found his greatest joy in simply being at home with the people he loved. He also enjoyed trips to the beach, visits to Las Vegas and the casinos, and especially spending time at flea markets. Many would find him digging through what others might call junk piles, always searching for some hidden treasure that one of his kids could repair or put to use. Albert loved collecting unusual knickknacks and trinkets from flea markets, estate sales, and storage auctions even if they were broken.
Albert had a joyful spirit. He loved to joke, laugh, and smile, and those around him remember him as someone who brought humor and light wherever he went. But those who knew him also knew that if you crossed him, you quickly learned to watch out. Above all, Albert was a man of sacrifice. He gave his life to caring for his family and worked tirelessly to ensure his children and grandchildren had opportunities he never had. In his lifetime he was blessed to see the birth of seven grandchildren.
Albert is survived by his loving Wife, Kimberly Kelting, Mother Consuelo Kelting; his sister, Lupe Belmonte; and his brother, Carlos Kelting. He is also survived by his three children, Marcus Kelting, Andrew Kelting, and Kayla Kelting, and by his seven cherished grandchildren: Albert, Azariah, Marcus Jr., Brielle, Jaden, Ethan, and Layla. He was preceded in death by his father, Newelle Alfredo Kelting, and his brothers, Simon Kelting and Freddy Kelting. Albert was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Though his time with us feels far too short, the faith he carried and the legacy he leaves behind will continue through the lives of his children and grandchildren. As the Scripture says:
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Albert has now finished his race and returned home to the Lord, leaving behind a family who will carry forward the faith, strength, and example he gave them.
