Albert was born January 23, 1952, in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Albert Jenkins Leverette and Beatrice Odell Bateman. He was a retired window washer.

Preceded in death by his grandparents: Oliver Jenkins Leverette and Annie Price Watts Leverette; Uncle Frank Leverette and Aunt Nettie Louise Leverette Henderson; brother Albert Jenkins Leverette, Jr.; sister Barbara Ann Leverette; stepbrother Terry Lee Felts and ex-wife, Mary Agee.

He is survived by son James (Kim) Leverette; daughter Jessica (Alonzo) Smith, brothers Gary, Larry Joe, Terry (Vicky), and David Richard; Sister Katherine Nicole Leverette; grandsons Isaih (Wilnie) Beard, Alonzo Smith, Chandler Pillar, Roman Leverette, and Jessie Smith; granddaughters Catrina Leverette (Fermino Vasquez-Diaz), Georgia (Marcus) Tibbs, Brooklin Leverette, Tinashae Smith, Taniya Smith; great-grandsons Marcus Tibbs Jr, Joah Clark Beard; great-granddaughters Madeline Tibbs, Leilani Boullard, Gabrielle Tibbs. He will be loved and missed by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
