It was a pleasure to share the year of our birth. To go to NHS the last 2 two years and to ride horses with you on the trail and your jumping ability. Ride on, Sharon Cofrin Lawler. '69

Albie, I just learned of your passing, I'm sad for this news. I am also proud to say your friendship was priceless. I loved the times we watched with soccer and cheered, yelled, and always knew the boys would be better next time. Will miss your ribbing and laughs. Neil

Albie - you epitomized what we all strive for - integrity, that all important positive frame of mind/approach to all, laughter, your ease to make friends with your outgoing personality and acceptance of all including giving your best for a spot on the canceled US Summer 1980 Olympic team.
Great remembrances of Bobby Nolan & you tending bar at Gallaghers - oh yes !!
A truly fine man who is so respected by many for all your many achievements of life that you so enjoyed as well as did your many friends and of course your family.
Well done Albie - you are and will be so missed

To the family, my most sincere sympathies. I worked with Albie while with FEMA. He was an outstanding person and leader as a Federal Coordination Officer (FCO). I, too, was an FCO and retired police chief from New Orleans. I worked with Albie on several disasters around the country; he was one of the smartest and coolest people I met during my 8 years with FEMA.

He was a 10 as person and colleague. My prayers, and sympathies to his family during these sad times. And my prayers and best wishes to the family as you move forward!!
