Albert George Nolte Jr., age 84 of Dickinson, Texas, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1940, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. After spending 31 years living in Panama, Al moved to Dickinson with his wife Delia, their home for the past 17 years. Al proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1977, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant before his honorable separation. Al had many passions throughout his life. A talented artist, Al created beautiful paint-by-number works and built intricate model ships. He also enjoyed playing basketball, cribbage, and other card and board games. A lover of smooth jazz, Bob James was among his favorite artists. In the kitchen, Al delighted family and friends with his cooking and baking-his spaghetti, holiday meals, and famous deviled eggs were always favorites. A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, Al cheered faithfully through every season, celebrating both victories and defeats. He also treasured spending time with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. Al was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Sarah Nolte; his sister, Joyce Mellott; and his grandchild, Jonathan Huwe.

Al is survived by his wife Delia Nolte of 48 years; son Sergio Nolte and wife Jolene, daughters Fulvia Shaw and husband Brent, Anne Nolte, and Khristine Farmer and husband Alan; daughter and sons, Karin Hall Kennedy and husband Richard, Eric Hall and wife Monica, and Jeff Hall and his wife Ruth; sister Sue Baumbach; brother Ken Nolte and wife Barbara; grandchildren Selena Nolte Pappas and husband Alex, Leticia Nolte, Skyler Nolte, James Huwe, Braeden Shaw, Dylan Farmer, and Devyn Farmer.

A celebration of life will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Southeast Church of Christ, 2400 West Bay Area Blvd., Friendswood, Texas.
