Born on November 9, 1934, in Gjirokaster, Albania, Albert (Arben) Omari's 89-year journey touched countless lives with his warmth, wisdom, and kindness. He was not only a devoted husband but also a loving father and cherished grandfather, leaving behind a profound legacy of love and strong family values.
Albert (Arben), known as Arben in Albania and Albert in the USA, was a man of unwavering integrity and inner strength. He dedicated his life to providing for and nurturing his family, and his hard work and resilience were the bedrock of his character. He leaves us with cherished memories of family gatherings, shared laughter, and moments of joy that will be forever etched in our hearts.
Beyond his role as a dedicated family man, Albert (Arben) was renowned for his ability to bring happiness wherever he went, always striving to put a smile on everyone's face. He possessed a remarkable talent for finding humor in everyday situations, transforming ordinary moments into extraordinary memories. In his later years, he discovered profound joy in the art of coloring, finding solace and fulfillment in the act of bringing colors to life.
Albert (Arben) is survived by his beloved wife, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of marriage. He is also survived by his children, his daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and three adored granddaughters, all of whom will deeply miss him. His family will continue to honor his memory and the love he shared with them.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester, MA.
His funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. in the Greely Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA. The ceremony will be a time for eulogies and tributes, allowing us to celebrate Albert's life and the lasting legacy he leaves behind.
