Albert Pandolfi Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Silverton Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Toms River on Jun. 25, 2025.
Albert Pandolfi, a cherished and esteemed member of the Brick, NJ community, was called home to the Lord on June 25, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on September 25, 1930, in Niles, Ohio, to the late Emilio Pandolfi and Maria (Moscardini) Pandolfi, Albert's life was a testament to the values of hard work, service, and devotion to family.
Albert, lovingly known by his family and friends, was a beacon of light and strength. He shared 71 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Angela (Conforti) Pandolfi, who stood by him through life's many seasons. Together, they raised their daughter Eileen Rankosky, who, along with her husband Danny, gave Albert the precious gift of his grandson, Joseph, all of whom reside in Toms River.
Albert's love extended to his siblings, the late Gino Pandolfi, Julius Pandolfi and his wife Julianne of Brick, and his sister Rita Bock, a widow of the late Steve Bock, who also resides in Toms River. His extended family of many nieces and nephews knew him as a figure of wisdom, generosity, and unwavering support.
After graduating from Edison Votech in Elizabeth, NJ, Albert honorably served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean War. His bravery and dedication were evident as he served overseas in Korea for two years. Upon returning, he embarked on a career with the county of Union (NJ), where he began as a carpenter and concluded his professional journey as the supervisor of the horticulture department, retiring in 1988.
Albert's Christian faith was the cornerstone of his life, guiding his actions and interactions with everyone he met. His hands, skilled in woodworking, and his heart, devoted to gardening, were instruments of his love for creation. He found joy in nurturing the earth and crafting beautiful objects, a reflection of his Creator's own creativity.
Beyond his hobbies, Albert's true passion lay in lending his talents to those in need. Whether it was a friend, neighbor, or a stranger, he never hesitated to offer his assistance and share his expertise. His legacy is one of selfless service, a shining example of the Christian call to love one's neighbor.
Albert Pandolfi's journey on earth may have come to a peaceful end, but the seeds he planted in the hearts of those he touched will continue to grow and flourish. His life was a portrait of love, dedication, and faithfulness, and while he will be deeply missed, his spirit remains a comforting presence in the lives of his loved ones. As we bid farewell to Albert, we take solace in the promise of eternal life and the hope of reuniting with him in the presence of our Heavenly Father.

I've learned a lot from Al throughout the years, (a 30 year+ friendship) both spoken and unspoken. He didn't need to say much to get my attention or to get a point across. I'll always remember Al as a quiet, caring gentleman who spoke softly but carried a big stick. God Bless.
