Dr. Albert G. Saloom MD

Dr. Saloom was our family doctor while I was growing up in Everson (ca. 1960's). I have since left the area but shall always remember him as a wonderful doctor and a compassionate person. God Bless You Doc!

He delivered my son in 1965. Took care of my daughter after she was born at Frick in 1977. Our deepest condolences at the loss of this kind,caring man

Dr Saloom was my childhood physician. He was a man of great character and honor. He will sorely be missed.

When I lived in Scottdale, it was just around the corner from the Saloom Family. I remember these "children" as they were growing up. Tammy, you may not remember, that your Dear Dad and I went with you to a dance performance in Greensburg. You needed a piano accompanist, and I was that person.

It was an honor to not have just known the family, but I was a patient of Doc for years. Keep the memories alive in your hearts. My Sympathies to All.

He was a great doctor for our neighborhood. You went in and waited. He was very patient with people. Even the salesman had to wait to see him. I often thought about him after he retired knowing he lived beside my uncle in Bullskin Twp.

When I was a child and Albert Saloom was a young medical student, he was my Boy Scout Master. Even then he showed compassion and empathy for others, and demonstrated the traits of an exceptional leader. These fine qualities obviously carried him so very well through his careers as a medical doctor and a ranking military officer. His was a life well-lived: a doctor, an officer and, especially, a gentleman.

Dr. Saloon was such a good man. I called on him when I was a pharmaceutical rep in the area. He and Gloria were always very kind to me. He shared with me the story of the mountain where his cabin sits and I still have it. He served his country and his direct community. What a good man. Rest In Peace Dr. Saloom!

Remember him dearly for the care he always gave to my family. We were actually talking about him on Easter...what a great Dr. he was. His love and concern for each patient was like no others. My son even repeated a joke he had told him about 35 years ago. RIP

Dr Saloom was my family doctor. He delivered my 3 children. My youngest was the last baby he delivered. He was so wise and knowledgeable. My family loved him. May you Rest In Peace Dr Saloom.

I went to Dr Saloom as soon as he came to Scottdale. through the years my mother did cleaning for Doc, many of times I went and filled in for her. This was before he married Gloria. We all we so excited when he got married. he always had a smile on his face.
