SMARR, Albert Copeland

September 4, 1940 – October 29, 2025

Albert Copeland Smarr, Attorney at Law in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Wednesday morning, October 29, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on September 4, 1940, in Charlotte, North Carolina, Albert was the eldest son of Otis Copeland Smarr and Carolyn Elizabeth Taylor Smarr; and the brother of Ronald Smarr. He is survived by his wife, Judith Benedict; his daughters, Emilie Smarr and Carolyn Smarr; and his brother, Ronald (Rebecca) Smarr. The celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, with close family and friends.
