Albert Rollen "Jiggs" Stranahan, Jr., 74, of Peru, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 10, 2025 at his home.
He was born in Plattsburgh on July 17, 1950, the son of Albert, Sr. and Jean (Cordway) Stranahan.
Jiggs grew up in Keeseville, graduated from Keeseville High School in 1969, Following his retirement from Adirondack Correctional Facility, He enjoyed his time at camp, sitting around a camp fire listening to Classic Country with his family and friends. He enjoyed time on the lake fishing and riding on his new pontoon boat. He enjoyed watching the ships on the St Lawrence Seaway and Locks. He also enjoyed playing cars with Jackson..
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Bill, Mike and wife Chrissy; His Grandchildren, Billy and wife Kayla, Hannah, and Emily; and his Great Grandchildren, Jackson and Emmett
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Sharron Beth (Benware) Stranahan.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 from 6 to 8 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home, 124 Clinton Street, Keeseville. A Funeral Service will follow in the Hamilton Funeral Home chapel.
Donations in memory of Albert Rollen Stranahan, Jr. may be made to the Keeseville Volunteer Fire Department.
